APRON Inc. Sets Monthly ‘Friend-Raiser’ at High Street Apothecary

Starting Wednesday, Aug. 30, APRON Inc. will hold a “Happy Friend-Raiser” meet and greet event at High Street Apothecary in New Albany.

APRON Inc., is a non-profit that provides temporary financial relief to hospitality workers in the Louisville area who work at locally-owned establishments and are experiencing financial distress due to illness, accident or some other emergency through no fault of their own.

The meet and greet events will be held 5:30-7:30, and visitors will be able to talk with APRON Inc. board members to learn more about the non-profit’s mission. On the 30th, attendees also will be able to win swag and enjoy a complimentary Maker’s Mark tasting. There will also be complimentary brie cheese and crackers, and a special cocktail and small bites also will be available for purchase.
