Fox Den Announces Inaugural Fox Fest Parking Lot Party

The Fox Den in St. Matthews will play host the inaugural Fox Fest Parking Lot Party on Saturday, Aug. 13, with a portion of proceeds benefiting APRON Inc.

The event will feature three stages featuring live music: the Fox Rocks Parking Lot Stage, the Fox Dome Deck, and the Indoor Maker’s Entertainment Stage. Fox Fest will take place 2 p.m.-2 a.m. The outdoor area will be all-ages until 9 p.m.

Live Entertainment will be provided by Wildwood Farewell Reunion (Last Show) , Born Cross Eyed, Island Earth Music featuring members of Elephant Room and Villebillies, Signal the Revolution, Sleep Aura, Grafenburg, Bryan Fox Band, Lyndsey Heken w/ Neon Troubadours, Edgar Red, and Bourbon Straights.

In addition Fox Fest will feature a Maker’s Mark Lounge, Miller Lite Beer Truck, Food Trucks from 502 cafe brought to you by Four Pegs and Taqueria La Guerita.

"The St Matthews Street Festival was always so much fun,” Jared Fox Matthews, Owner-Operator of the Fox Den, said in a news release. “Every year, more and more bands were hitting me up about playing that event bringing, thousands to the streets and commerce.”

That event, of course, was suspended to to Covid-19 concerns.

“I am not sure this event will ever come back. That's when I came up with the idea for Fox Fest,” Fox said. He said the event will be an annual festival that features local artists, local food trucks and three stages of music.

Tickets are $5 Presale/$10 Day of. Tickets on sale Wednesday, July 6 and can be purchased at the Venue; 10% of the proceeds will go to Apron Inc.
