Germantown Business Association to Launch ‘Eat Drink Germantown’

Ready to get your Germantown on? The Greater Germantown Business Association (GGBA) announced that the inaugural Eat Drink Germantown culinary showcase will be held April 18 at Germantown Gables (986 Swan Street), 6-10 p.m.

The evening will celebrate the best of Germantown's culinary scene while supporting the local business community. Leading up to the event, participating vendors will also create unique cocktails for customers to vote on, with the winning cocktail announced at the event as “The Germantown.”

Eat Drink Germantown will feature a diverse array of food samples from multiple Germantown-area vendors, including Canary Club, Awry Brewing, Merryweather, Monnik Beer Co., Bean Coffee, Perso, and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to indulge in a selection of Germantown-made beers and cocktails.

The event will also feature The Germantown cocktail competition presented by Campari. Beginning April 8th, participating vendors will create unique cocktails that customers can vote on as best representing the Germantown neighborhood. The winning cocktail will be announced at Eat Drink Germantown on April 18th and served to attendees.

Admission for Eat Drink Germantown is $45 and includes samples from each food, beer, or cocktail vendor. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Greater Germantown Business Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting local businesses within the community.

"We are thrilled to bring together the Germantown community for an evening of local food, drinks, and great company," said John Ronayne, President of the GGBA board. "Eat Drink Germantown not only celebrates the incredible talent of our neighborhood’s culinary scene in Louisville but also serves as a vital fundraiser for our growing organization in the Germantown area. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this fantastic event."

The Greater Germantown Business Association has been serving the local business community since 2016, providing resources, networking opportunities, and support to help businesses thrive. Eat Drink Germantown is just one of the many initiatives undertaken by the GGBA to foster a strong and vibrant local economy.
