TEN20 Craft Brewery opened a 2,000-square-foot satellite taproom at 11505 Park Road in Anchorage, Ky., this week.

The new brewery, which is adjacent to The Village Anchor, marks the first taproom expansion for the company, which opened its $5.5 million, 22,000-square-foot craft brewery production facility and taproom in the heart of Butchertown in October 2020.

“We appreciate the warm welcome to Anchorage and look forward to sharing our exceptional beers, outstanding service, and commitment to community with those in the area,” Jim McGuire, part of the TEN20 ownership group, said in a news release.

A permanent lineup of flagship beers plus rotating seasonal selections will be available at TEN20’s Anchorage taproom. All taproom offerings will be brewed at the production facility in Butchertown by Larry Horwitz, head of brewing operations. TEN20 Anchorage will also offer premium bourbons, cocktails and wine, and plans to add new beers exclusive to the Anchorage taproom in the coming months.

Beer selections at opening will include:

●      Storyteller Hazy IPA (New England IPA)

●      Woodland Gardens IPA (American IPA)

●      Dryden Providin’ Pils (Pilsner)

●      Stockyards Porter (English Porter)

●      Clearly Tropics (Hard Seltzer)

●      1834 Lager (American Lager)

“The holiday season is the peak time for people to come together, and it only makes sense to do so over a fresh, quality beer,” Horwitz said. “We are happy to welcome locals and visitors alike to enjoy our new, inviting and comfortable space in Anchorage.”

TEN20 partnered with DKN Architects, McCormick Construction and Development, and Journey + Jacobs to design and build the space.

TEN20 Anchorage will operate seven days a week, opening at 3 p.m. on weekdays and noon on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to enjoying the indoor taproom, guests can also purchase merchandise and cans to go.
