Vernon Lanes Expands Food Menu

Vernon Lanes just dropped a new menu with several new food items. The bowling alley and music venue has added burger varieties, and also added new salad and sandwich options, according to a post on the business’ Facebook page.

One addition is a Cajun quesdadilla made with onions, peppers Cajun seasoning and cheddar, with the option to add shrimp or chicken. There also are two new burger options besides the original Vernon Burger. They are: a half-pound double beer cheese burger with house-made beer cheese, crispy onions and option to add egg, bacon or grilled shrimp; a vegan Impossible burger that mimics the Vernon Burger, and the Old South Burger, a quarter-pound burger with tomato, onions and pickles, option to add egg, bacon or grilled shrimp.

Salads now on the menu include a Cobb salad, fried chicken salad, spinach salad a signature Vernon salad, a Caesar salad and an arugula salad.

Vernon Lanes is located at 1575 Story Ave. in Butchertown. Hours are noon-midnight, Monday-Thursday, and noon-2 a.m., Friday-Sunday.
