“Eatertainment” developer Competitive Social Ventures (CSV) is partnering with Louisville’s Pluris Real Estate to build a new Pickle & Social Louisville eatertainment venue, and the company is offering area investors an opportunity to jump in.

Pickle and Social is not your typical sports facility,” Joe Reardon, President of CSV, said in a news release. “It is set to become the ultimate hang-out spot in Louisville, combining the allure of pickleball with an array of amenities. We’re excited to be working on this project with Colin Underhill, President of Pluris Real Estate here in Louisville, and to have the support of the Kentucky Tourism Cabinet.

“We’re now looking forward to welcoming Louisville investors to join us in a rare opportunity to be a part of the profitable and growing pickleball phenomenon in their own backyard. Everyone is seeking how to invest in the fastest growing sport in the world, and we know the Pickle and Social model is positioned to fill that appetite."

The new venue will be located at 8100 Lyndon Park Lane. Construction is expected to begin this fall with a projected opening of September 2024. The venue will span approximately four acres and will feature pickleball courts, including nine indoor-weather-controlled, two pavilion-covered, and three outdoor courts, catering to players of all skill levels.

Beyond the sporting facilities, Pickle and Social Louisville aims to be a welcoming space for everyone. Visitors will be able to enjoy a full-service restaurant and bourbon bar serving a variety of elevated craft food and signature drinks. For sports and game enthusiasts, the venue will offer American Cornhole Leagues as well as other yard games and a JOOLA ping-pong yard. And for music lovers, a live music stage is set to host concerts throughout the year, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

“The potential of Pickle and Social goes beyond just a sports and entertainment destination,” said Brian Harper, SVP of Sales and Marketing for CSV. “It represents an opportunity for investors to support a concept that brings together community engagement, recreational activities, and culinary delights. With its focus on providing a holistic experience, Pickle and Social aims to create a thriving social hub for Louisville residents and visitors alike.”
