Kentucky Hop Water Adds THC-Infused Option

Less than a year after releasing its flagship hop water, Kentucky Hop Water is expanding into the THC category with a new hemp-derived beverage this fall and will be sold throughout Kentucky and online at www.kentuckyhopwater.com.

THC-Infused Kentucky Hop Water features the same base as the original. Citra and Amarillo hops, Kentucky limestone-filtered water, and carbonation in a 16-oz can. The result is the same familiar hop-forward beverage with notes of grapefruit and orange peel -- now infused with 5mg of federally compliant Delta-9 THC derived from hemp.

“Kentucky has deep historical ties to hemp,” Michael Moeller, Kentucky Hop Water’s founder, said. “In the 1800s, Kentucky was the leading hemp producer in the United States, accounting for over 90% of the national supply. Kentucky Hop Water is excited to draw on that legacy while addressing demand for functional, non-alcoholic alternatives.”

The new release complies with federal limits under the 2018 Farm Bill and is eligible for online and retail sale without the need for dispensary access. It offers a light, functional effect with no alcohol.

THC-Infused Kentucky Hop Water (SRP: $18.99 per 4-pack) is available online now and will Kentucky retailer shelves in the coming weeks. Learn more at www.kentuckyhopwater.com.
