Liquor Lab to Open Location in NuLu Marketplace Oct. 28

Liquor Lab, the classroom-style venue hosting weekly hands-on cocktail classes, will open in NuLu Marketplace this Friday, Oct. 28.

Liquor Lab, based in Nashville, will offer two weekly classes right out of the gate, one on Friday evening and one on Saturday evening, with private classes throughout the week. Guests will have the option to pick from various experiences such as Southern Sippers, Margaritas & More, and of course Bourbon & Beyond, along with a few seasonal classes where attendees will make Fall inspired cocktails such as the Autumnal Old Fashion with chai-infused whiskey, demerara, and bitters, and an Orchard Sidecar with cognac, apple, lemon, and bitters.

“We are so excited to bring another location of Liquor Lab to NuLu Marketplace,” said Owen Meyer, CEO and Founder of Liquor Lab. “Louisville, and Kentucky as a whole, is a place with so much rich cocktail/whiskey history that our cocktails and events will celebrate. We look forward to seeing many new faces as our experiences are a great start - or end - to any evening out on the town.”

Each class runs about 90 minutes and each guest makes a total of three craft cocktails while learning how to shake, stir, and pour like the pros. Guests will also have time to stop, sip, and socialize between drinks, all while enjoying bites from local restaurant partners.

The new Liquor Lab location will cover 4,579 square feet of space in the far right corner of NuLu Marketplace and will boast a retail area where beverage connoisseurs can take home cocktail kits, homemade syrups, bar tools, and more. The classroom - hosting up to 40 guests at a time - is also available as a private event space for parties or events.

“Louisville is very up-and-coming in the hospitality world, and NuLu Marketplace is simply a beautiful property with a wonderful group of tenants. Louisville has a great history in the spirit world, so we’re excited to be part of the community,” said Aaron Vaccaro, partner and board member of Liquor Lab.

Louisville’s Liquor Lab is located at 823 E Market Street, Suite 103. Public classes also will be held Fridays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 8 p.m. To find a schedule of forthcoming classes, visit https://liquorlab.com/louisville-classes.
